C.H.R.I.M

C.H.R.I.M born Christian Wanangwa Chilyamakani Mwase is a rapper, poet, songwriter, author and
ghostwriter based in Lilongwe. He has two mixtapes under his belt, The Resurrecting Rejects (2016) and
his most recently released #FLH Mixtape (2019). He has one official music video entitled Keep Moving ft
Shalom Mughogho released in 2017 as a lead single to his #FLH Mixtape. He has two LIVE studio
performance videos Munditsogolere feat Ireen Kayinga and Tate featuring Samziya & Tracy Mtokoma.
He also released a political spoken word piece entitled POLYTRICKS a day before the 2019 Malawi
Presidential elections prior to the release of his 2019 #FLH Mixtape. In the piece he addresses several
political issues and provides priceless cautionary advice to politicians to put the interest of the people at
heart. He has co-written songs for artists like Reborn, Shalom Mughogho, Tasha etc.
C.H.R.I.M has also worked with several artists in the Christian Hip Hop landscape ranging from Blessme,
DJ Mpho, A’Chanza, McStain, Echorino, Phronee etc. C.H.R.I.M is also an author and editor. He has a
personal blog site where he shares his views on faith, politics, Hip-Hop and culture. He has edited
several books like Ace Up Your Sleeve and Equipped by Mathew Philharmonic, He has written articles for
Mass Plug Magazine, Uzimu Vibes and Bold As A Lion and he is currently working on his own book and
an Extended Playlist project.
