Wystan Winston Malata Mwale (born September 23, 1997) is a Malawian rapper, songwriter, and producer better known by his stage name Strxxt Knawlxdge (Street Knowledge). Knawlxdge grew up in Lilongwe and began writing rhymes when he was eleven years old, with his big brothers, Jay Leir and Baby Chris, serving as his primary inspiration. He memorized their rhymes as a child until he chose to write his own rhymes one day. Encore and The Eminem Show were the first two albums he ever listened to, despite the fact that he couldn't understand the message at the time, but the groove on the record was quite amazing. The Sound Of Revenge CD was a childhood favorite of knawlxdge and his brothers. Knawlxdge and his brother had no idea where hip hop came from; all they knew was that it was an American genre. As he grew in experience, he began to dig deeper on his own and discovered a few classic collections from the 1990s. Mobb Deep's The Infamous, Big L's Life Style Ov Da Poor and Dangerous, Rakim's The 18 Letter, and Wu Syndicate's Wu Syndicate He met Sxvage Esco Beatle in the early 2010s, and Beatle taught Knawlxdge how to make beats because he came from a musical family, and he was good with the keys and whatnot. Knawlxdge had planned to release an album, but owing to a lack of funding, he was unable to do so, and he was dissatisfied with the quality of the production. So he kept postponing his album until 2021 when he released XCVII. My tape XCVII states that I was born on September 23rd, 1997. I wanted to create an album that highlighted my challenges, grief, and lessons learned. This is an artistic representation of the events in my life, XCVII is an artistic depiction of my life's happenings. The album's introduction focuses on the role of boys and men in society. It discusses the difficulties of being a man and the expectations placed on you. In my life, I've been misled, Betrayed, and disappointed more times than I can count. That is the subject of my songs (betrayal) and (Dejection). (Insecurities) One of the times I ventured to love, I found myself in a scenario with a woman who cared more about how we appeared to others than who we were between us. She was so concerned with the perfection that she created something as flawless as us, but with flaws. My music is a representation of a down-to-earth man seeking true love. Love that resonates, not love that radiates perfection. In (A Song About Poverty) I rapped about how messed up things are in our country. How can we hold children responsible for their low educational attainment? We all know it isn't their fault; we simply don't have enough school materials. Kids are working so hard to support themselves, but because we don't have any jobs, they are forced to live a life of crime. So, that's what XCVII is all about. In addition, I'm now working as a producer on another project (Acknawlxdge), which will be released later this year.
